Elizabeth (Liz) Ward is an experienced communications consultant, cross-cultural guide, and owner of Co-Culture Solutions, LLC. Ward has taught in the United States and Costa Rica and speaks English and Spanish. Her formal education includes an M.L.S. in Intercultural Leadership from the University of Minnesota and B.A. degrees in Communication and Psychology from Ohio University.

Objective: Students will look at their attitudes and relationship about money and their own barriers to wealth.

Class Two, October 25: The Law of 72, Time Value of Money and the Three Types of Income needed to Create Wealth.
Objective: Students will learn how to calculate compounding interest of investments and debt and identify the three types of income needed to achieve wealth.

Class Three, November1: Understanding Stock and Ownership
Objective: A Basic overview of responsibilities and benefits of Stock ownership.

Class Four,Novembe 8: Understanding Insurance – Introductory Concepts
Objective: Students will gain the skills necessary to interpret their current coverage.

Class Five, Novembe 15: Retirement Planning for Women--Solving the Puzzle of Your Current Retirement Plan
Objective: Gain a basic understanding of what your 401k, IRA, and other retirement options are.

Class Six, Novembe 22: Bondage Free Budgeting
Objective: Walk away with the basics of budgeting and a sense of your complete prosperity.

Meditation for You: What...Why...How
Put aside your worries and concerns and immerse your entire being into this simple and relaxed overview and exploration of meditation. Drawing on traditions from west to east, from secular to spiritual, experience this overview of the art and science of meditation and how a daily practice can change your life.

You will experience several easy-to-use methods that may provide you with opportunities for peace and serenity in your everyday, topsy-turvy world. You will receive a list of community resources and learn that meditation doesn’t have to be scary or difficult. And learn that yes, there is a type of meditation that fits you and your lifestyle. You will walk away with a menu of tools and resources that can be explored and used to provide peace and serenity in your life.

Meditation leader: Lynne Olson, MA, is a spiritual journeyer and a professional writer/editor. She has been on a transformative path for over twenty years and draws from a rich palette of experiences and tools to guide her as she practices living – and being – in this chaotic world. She has been practicing Fulfillment Meditation since 2004. Lynne has previously worked in various capacities in academic, corporate, and nonprofit sectors.
