Introduction to Wealth – Six Wednesdays starting January 14th, 2009
Now more than ever, you NEED to know about personal finances. Get financially competent!
Class One: Survival vs. Growth Mentality
Objective: Students will look at their attitudes and relationship about money and their own barriers to wealth.
Class Two: The Law of 72, “Time Value of Money” and the Three Types of Income needed to Create Wealth.
Objective: Students will learn how to calculate compounding interest of investments and debt and identify the three types of income needed to achive wealth.
Class Three: “Understanding Stock and Ownership"
Objective: A Basic overview of responsibilities and benefits of Stock ownership.
Class Four: Understanding Insurance – “Introductory Concepts”
Objective: Students will gain the skills necessary to interpret their current coverage.
Class Five: Retirement Planning for Women – “Solving the Puzzle of Your Current Retirement Plan.”
Objective: Gain a basic understanding of what your 401k, IRA, and other retirement options are.
Class Six: Bondage Free Budgeting
Objective: Walk away with the basics of budgeting and a sense of your complete prosperity.

Creating a Monetary Identity
As women grow into higher earning potentials, the unspoken rules for success change. Implied meanings that women may not be aware of and personal positioning as a whole person becomes just as important as a written resume. Many women are left to figure out how to bridge the gap between where they are now and where they need to go.
Overall Objectives: Understanding the gap of growth and connecting women with the tools needed to construct a lifestyle which includes personal values, current resources and social position. At the end of the class series, participants will connect their personal values and areas of growth and create a plan for a new monetary identity; one that realizes a holistic and prosperous standard of living.
Session #1: Understanding the Gap
Objective: Participants will be able to describe their own gap by identifying old patterns and reward systems that no longer fit.
Session #2: Value Based Lifestyle
Objective: Identify their top 5 values, and describe how or what resources are being directed towards their values.
Session #3: Life-Force Energy
Objective: Participants will be able to identify the importance of their time in relation to their values.
Session #4: Monetary Identity, Part 1
Objectives: Participants will be able to recognize the multitude of monetary relationships and describe how their time, resources, and values create an identity .
Session #5: Monetary Identity Part 2
Objectives: Participants will be able to create a holistic monetary identity that corresponds with their current values, resources and goals.
Session #6: Pulling it Together and Moving Forward
Objectives: Participants will generate a goal plan, a "gap map" for closing their gap by integrating values into their monetary identity.
